I did like cats until we did the "Black Light Test".

All cats use the litter box to do their thing. All litter boxes have germs from the cat doing its thing.

When the sun goes down turn off all your lights in the kitchen so it is completely dark. Then turn on the "Black Light" You can see all the paw prints where the cat has been, probably right after the litter box. And the kitchen is the place where you prepare food.

Sorry no more cats for us!

Amazes me how some people {who indeed have fully functional legs} see walking anywhere as a chore rather than a life extending "exercise."

Have just returned from a 5.30am Saturday Winter walk.
The local cats were screeching & squawking as they fought or fornicated......hard to tell with fur balls. :shock:

Each to their own choices. A good dog anyday is the preferred pet here.

Quality beats quantity any time.
10 million furballs indicates one hell of a lot of fornicating.
Too many irresponsible owners there.

dog days of summer, dog tired, and many more. In the final analysis there are 10 million more in home where hopefully their owners have had them fixed. Dogs and cats have similar sized litters and given the change both will do what nature intended.

There are exceptions to every rule of course and exceptional owners. I myself prefer the spirit cats have that dogs do not. I have had both but just prefer cats.
