DVD/RW will not read disc.

Hello, I recently purchased Star Wars: The old Republic for windows.

I upgraded from windows vista about a year ago, but I have yet to install a game with the use of disk,

The problem is, when I put the disk in the DVD/RW drive, ...nothing happens.

The only time something really happens , is when it shows the DVD ROM thumbnail, but when I Open it up, it either freezes my computer, or It shows nothings in the file.

I have tried running it through the run application, and it gives me a notice that the file is corrupted. I have tried using this game in my other computer and it works fine..

I have tried multiple trouble shooting options.

Have you tried playing some commercial DVD movies? Do they play?
