Eah4350 silent has stopped responding and recovered succesfully

It certainly looks like you are dealing with a driver issue. When you uninstalled the video driver and restarted W7 most likely installed it's own generic driver. If you look in the Start > Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Devices & Printers > Device Manager > Display Adapters > Your Video Card and right click and choose Properties, do you see WDDM 1.1 as the driver? If so, good. That means with a working driver your symptoms stop. Now all you need is a good driver install.

First, go into Start > Control Panel > Programs and find any and all programs that are for your ATI video card and uninstall them.

Next go into Windows Explorer and check the C: drive for any ATI folders, look inside and delete any folders that contain the driver files. These will be recreated when you install the new drivers.

In your case it would be a very good idea to use a program like CCleaner in Safe Mode to make sure you have removed every trace of old ATI driver files. But you might be able to get away without this step.

Now download directly from ATI the driver package you want to install.

Enter your info to find the driver. Be sure to check out the tips links at the bottom of that page.

You can find the 10.3 drivers here for 32 bit W7:

atm, i use banjos driversweeper (since it works better than ccleaner, as of what i can see).. i'll try that right asap, couldn't find any 10.3 driver, so thanks for giving 1 out.

Go to Start> type sfc /scannow and when it shows up at the top right mouse click and run as Administrator and see if it reports finding/fixing anything on the drive.

In the meantime, here is another test you can try:
If your brother has the exact same video card that you do, then leave the current Catalyst drivers installed on your machine, shut down, and put your brother's video card in your machine. Then start the computer and see if the errors go away using his card.

What this would test is whether your video card is defective. It may be that it only fails when asked to perform advanced functions that the Catalyst drivers would enable, but the generic Windows drivers do not.

Went to the shop for getting a new graphic card and told about the issue, so they gave me a other graphic card (same graphic card, just 1 from the shop instead). through it would resolve the issue, which it didn't...

additionally, we made his computer use my graphic card, and on his pc. nothing happens . no crashes..

Well the fact that you tried your hard drive in your brothers PC and the same problem occurs and trying your video card in his PC and no crashes realistically points to the problem being on your hard drive. If you do not have a lot of data that needs to be saved you might consider doing a complete factory image restore, if you do have a lot of data to save, not programs since these can be reloaded but actual saved files and photos etc. then you will need to back them up, DELL usually gives you 2 Gb of space for data storage on their server but if you did not purchase this support it won't be there. You could ask your brother if you could place your drive in his PC for the purpose of doing a backup of the files to his hard disk then restore the factory image on your PC, get it running right and put your drive in his PC and retrieve your backup data.

well. i've tryed reformat, both with original xp cd and not original...

Yes, the BIOS settings. It would be good to know that the BIOS settings on your computer are exactly the same as the BIOS settings on your bro's computer.

If the settings are the same on both computers then I think we have pretty clearly determined that the problem resides inside your hard drive. That means that the OS has been corrupted, or one or more of the drivers has been corrupted, is incorrect, or is conflicting with another driver.

mm.. i got a clue..

i just got a new laptop.

2.13 ghz i3 core (intel)
4gb ddr3 ram (goes on both ram and graphic card).

when i changed my screen size. i got some error about, not compatible with 1600x900..

my through is, could it possible be the screen size T.T?..

that's pretty much all i tryed to change.. changed it to 1280x768 and the error then appear. with driver stopped and recovered...

Just a through, coz when i changed back to 1600x900. the only error i get then is the size compatible thing. there only minimize my game each 30min or so... but no crash, sometimes just a little freeze, but the error dont appear once i changed it to the recommended settings..

my laptop is a MSI CR720

However the 4350 can support resolutions higher than 1280x768, and 1280x768 is a pretty standard resolution, even for a laptop.

It could be that your monitor cannot handle that resolution (doubtful), or more likely, the game can't handle that resolution.

Read the manual for all and take note of the supported resolutions and refresh rates and change your settings to one that fits all 3.

okay.. runescape can run it for sure. it only crashes, when changed to either direct x or opengl settings (nomatter which revolution i use). same goes for my video player and windows media player. obviously my revolution is not the fact either :S
