copying data does take a long time.

Long..... be patient. labeling the partitions takes a second. Copying the small partition is fast as well (few minutes).

The 40GB partition (local disk as I remember correct) takes long time. Post a screenshot please.

Why??? Errors? Be patient.... maybe bad spots on disk it is trying to read. No progress at all?

Try to abort the process. Is there a cancel button?
Try to copy small partition only. Does that work?

Reboot again to PW and try this
Do it on "Data" and "local disk". Resize them first, so it doesn't take that long and apply. After that http://www.partitionwizard.com/video-help/partitiontest/partitiontest.html

If many red spots you can stop

That's what I said. But don't do it, because I want you to write nothing to that disk. Try to copy the partition with only 3GB used space to disk2

No... don't write anything to disk!! Not even partition information. Just check the partition surface

I have actually planned to back up all the data previously but i dont have a external hdd that is enough to store all my data, until i found the one i'm using now which actually can be used (previously i thought it cant be used by me).
