explorer.exe crashes when exiting Steam games

This is what everything was like before this happened..

C drive on SATA0
Steam drive on SATA1

Now, I got a new hard drive, so

C is on SATA0
New drive is on SATA1
Steam drive is on SATA2

Now, it seems that whenever I close a steam game, explorer.exe will crash. this is EVERY time. I can do it on demand, start a game, close the game.

I really have no idea what to do. I've tried uninstalling both drives and rebooting, letting Windows redetect them to no avail.

Run http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html up to three times to resolve any Windows file corruptions. If it comes back with no integrity violations the first time, post back for further instructions. If it comes back with errors after a fourth run, follow OPTION THREE of that tutorial and the tip enclosed therein, and then run the check again and post back the results.

Ah should of posted last night.
I reinstalled steam, and everything works as it should now

That would have been my next recommendation. Nice troubleshooting step; glad you got your Steam issue resolved.
