Well I did it! I found this great theme by Fluke at Creativx which uses the Full Glass exe., I used Uxstyle to apply the theme so no changing or replacing of system files was need or taking ownership! If it did involve any of that, I wouldn't have touched it with a 10 foot pole!! LOL!! Uxstyle has really revolutionized the customization of Windows! Full Glass can be turned off and on when needed and is not a memory hog!!! I kept my eye on my cpu and memory meters and they were fine! I still can't believe you can get these effects without the potential damage of the past! Here are a couple of screen shots:

This is what i want my windows to look like but i followed the information, registered on the site found fluke as a listed creator but couldn't find the Full Glass.exe & how to use Uxstyle can you kindly help me with the step or procedure to do so...BTW i tried full_glass_by_phantommenace2020 but this does nothing & just show up in the system tray i think its for x64...so help me getting the same effect on my windows too... Thanks

if you're registered there you can download it, there's also instructions on how to use it and full glass.exe.

how do I fix this

ux installed, fullglass running, played with my colors but that's not helping either.

this window background just doesn't want to budge.

my font is transparent, however.

ok I got it working when I followed the instructions to copy FULL GLASS VS7.theme and the folder full glass vs7 from VS_full_glass_for_win7_by_nguyenxuanhoa.rar

double clicked on full glassvs7.theme once it was in windows/resources/themes/ folder

ok so:

i have fullglass.exe in my startup
installed uxstyle
double clicked full glass vs7.theme

works.

Did you put the theme file and file folder in C: Windows, Resources, Themes?

Then close and open those windows a couple times, Is your start menu clear?

I have fullglass.exe running and just did what I said above and it works for me.

WAY simpler than the red warning lights and sirens makes it sound.

Guys i need help because i got some of the themes with glass effect but none of them are really working for me. so, can any1 help me with the steps to follow so i get the best & same effect what every1 is getting out here.
i got Dark7 Ultimate X86,Glass2k only this 1s working but my icons are transparent too & others don't seem to work...

@ Sledge Yeah you are right & inspite of being a member i can't seem to download most of their themes & other stuff....

@deepakumar Apparently they're back And yes I agree, downloads from that site are quite difficult to obtain:
First of all you need Javascript enabled for at least 2 different domains (Creativx.net and googleapis.com only relevant if you use the no script plugin) then you have to reply to the thread you'd like to download from.
I understand that artists deserve gratification for their work, no problem there.
But to force visitors to write just anything (over 6 letters) is considered spamming in my eyes. Other forums institute a Thank You button. Creatix has both..but who are I to judge
after you replied the Download link appears under the formerly red sign "Hidden Content"

which should look lilke this now:

Personally I don't mind having to post a short thank you or giving reputation for a Job well done. I only have the utmost respect for anyone who would freely share their talents with the less artistically inclined ( see my avatar LOL ) It's no different than the many members here who contribute their time & wisdom that make this forum an encyclopedia of knowledge so that others may truly enjoy the Windows 7 Eexperience of customizing their Computers.

Don't get me wrong, Iownamoneypit: I wasn't complaining about having to thank anyone for using their work freely. Those artists sure deserve to be recognized.
I was solely surprised since I've never seen s/th like that.
So far I only came across admins who try to keep the spam level low. After all that's the reason there is a thank you-Plugin in almost every Board software package.

@SledgeDG...thanks for the info...bcz i use to be puzzled with those two different signs....i got the download in the end yeah but agree with you that it shouldn't be compulsory to post before you can use their service but yeah i too agree with you & @ Iownamoneypit that the artists are really as good as our forums' guys....i love their work....but i guess nothing in the world will get me a full glass effect ....because it doesn't seem to work for me ....but thank you guys for the help & support.......
