Grub Error

So, I had a double boot of Ubuntu and Windows 7 on my VAIO laptop. Ubuntu had taken up too much space, so I removed it from its partition (stupid decision in hindsight; I don't need to hear about that). When I try to turn my laptop on, I get this message:

error: no such partition
grub rescue>

What can be done to fix this?

I think that the easiest way is to boot into the recovery console, as explained in Neutron16's second link, and then running the following:
Code:
bootrec.exe /fixmbr
I hope this helps. Please report back if you have any problems.
