If you are going to upgrade then the 64 bit is OK.

In the BIOS there should be an option to reset to Defaults. Usually, that is when you exit the BIOS there will be that option. The other option is to remove the CMOS (BIOS) backup battery on the motherboard for 10 minutes. However on most laptops that requires disassembly.

Nixk23, on the bottom of your Laptop should be something like GR679ET#ABH -do not confuse the GR with Greece, it's just what I have on the bottom of one of the Notebooks here at work.

This will tell you the Model.
Can you please post it here?
Also did you tried all the USB ports?
Sometimes a USB 3.0 port (or KB) is not recognized.

IF u want to perform windows UPDATE, my suggestions was at clean state (means ur pc need to format and RE-install requires APPS or games) and perform it update, otherwise, u MIGHT see lotsa ERRORS occurs will exist!
another thing u need to emphasized was AS FOLLOWS :

- MAKE SURE NETFRAME WORKS (ALL VERSION) IS INSTALLED INSIDE UR PC! (DOT checker version is needed)
- SECONDARY, DIRECTX 9 SDK OR OFFLINE VERSION IS NEEDED!
- JAVA OR FLASH PLAYER IS A MUST !
- VISUAL C++ ALL VERSION , BACK FROM 2005 VERSION TILL LATEST ONE 2017 VERSION - COMPULSORY!
- ADOBE SHOCKWAVE OR AIR - OPTIONAL BUT RECOMMENDED!
- MICROSOFT SILVERLIGHT - COMPULSORY ( THIS TO PREVENT UNPLEASANT SITUATION TO OCCUR)!

HOPE THIS PRACTISES WILL BE UR ROUTINE LIFE~! ADIOUS SMART!

PS: ANOTHER THING U NEED TO EMPHASIZED WAS " ALWAYS CLEAN AND MAINTAIN" CLEANEST UR PC (I PRESUME THIS IS UR HABIT), SUCH PREFETCH, TEMP , TEMPS OR LEFT OVER FOLDER & REGISTRY (ORPHAN FOLDERS & REGISTRY) IS NEEDED TO BE DISCARDED BEFORE OPERATING IT AGAIN!

PS : sfc /scannow and CHKDSK is needed for regular basis!, make it de HABITS! all these can be DONE tru TWEAKING.COM WINDOWS REPAIR OPTION.

I can't plug any device on my laptop.
I don't have internet connection
All this because i have outdated drivers.
I cannot install anything.
I am thinking about replacing my entire hard drive to an SSD.
Is there any possible way without downloading or pluging anything on my laptop?
