IAStorIcon.exe/Intel "delayed launch"/Disabling&Elimination startup

Using single drive on PC and curious about IASTORICON.exe and the Intel delayed launch in startup of my system. Will disabling IASTORicon.exe in the services and the elimination of the Intel "delayed launch" in msconfig services have any adverse effects on my PC. Any thoughts ideas appreciated. TIA
