Hi. I have followed the installation instructions, but have realised my graphics card is not in the CL_91526.inf file. I have an ATI Radeon A3650-DTV-512D2 AGP.
Can you suggest how to modify the inf file to include this card.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Hi torrentg, I checked the hardware ID of my 2600pro AGP while still on winXP32
it shows:
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&SUBSYS_00281002&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&SUBSYS_00281002
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9587&CC_0300
I hope it's the good one.
Thanks

It probably is in the .inf already, unless your 3650 has a different hardware id changed by vendor. So what you can do is go to device manager. Right click on card (standard vga.) Properties. Details tab. Change dropdown to hardware ids. Then copy and paste results here.
I'll add your card to the attachment for you and anyone else that may use the method in the future.
Hello, I just found out about this post. I have a X1600 AGP and Win7 x86 and have a few issues since I installed the latest ATI drivers. Could I use the same procedure as on the 1st page of this post to re-install the latest catalyst? Do I need a specific file?

Hi.
Install this. Extract first. Then right click on video card in device manager. Update driver software. Browse. Let me pick. Have disk. Browse. Find and double click on the .inf. Hit ok, hit next and it will install.

Thanks for your help, it worked perfectly well. Do you happen to know why 1680x1050 which is my monitor native resolution is not available?

You're welcome.
Not really, no. You could try finding the driver for the monitor and installing.
My monitor is 1680x1050 and working well with or without the monitor driver, but it may help in your case.
Tried your fix, but did not work. do you need my info
