Keyboard & mouse mapping briefly screwed up after cleaning computer.

I had shut down my PC to clean inside the tower with compressed air & after I was finished & booted up again, my mouse & keyboards commands had changed. ESC was opening Windows start menu, my mouse wheel was zooming instead of vertical scrolling, my custom mouse settings were gone, etc.

I tried rebooting & the problem seems to be fixed, but I want to know what caused that to begin with & should I worry about any lurking problems that may show up again?

Mouse & keyboard are wireless Logitech M705 & K270.

There is no explanation to it.
Remember that, even if the computer is off, the MB is on.
Did you take the power cord from the wall before cleaning it?

I shut down & unplugged the PC before cleaning. I'm guessing the cleaning had nothing to do with it, but I still don't understand what caused that brief issue otherwise.
