More partitions?

I have a HP pavilon p6210y in where it use to have a 640 GB hard drive.
Ever since i deleted something off the registry causing the boot to act gay, i fixed it and now my computer only has 100GB of total hard drive space.It is almost full and now runs slowly.
Is there any way for me to get all that space back?

Go to Start, Right-Click on Computer, click on Manage and go to Disk Management, post a screenshot here, please

You have what looks like 486gb unallowcated on the right side. The can be formatted to 486 of usable HD space, Or merged with the D: Partition to make the one Big Partition.

Well, there's your problem, you have 486.05 of unallocated space on your HDD, right click that black lined partition (Unallocated Space) click on Format, choose NTFS, assign a letter and there you go

is there anyway i can some how fuse the C drive and the un allocated together?
Because my com is still going slow
by that i mean turn the exteneded partion to primary

Is D "new volume" empty, with nothing on it you care about?

If so, you can delete D. That 10 GB will then be added to your unallocated space.

You can then extend C to take up as much of the unallocated space as you want.

If you don't want to delete D, you would have to use a third party application to extend C into the unallocated space.

Easiest way is to just delete D if it has no data. Use Windows Disk Management.
