Mortal Kombat Error : Side by side configuration is incorect

So i've installed Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition and it worked! after having some problems with my computer I've reinstalled windows 7 x64 and I've installed again Mortal Kombat . No problems with the installation but when i try to run it it is giving me this error : This application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more details.
I've tried to uninstall and install again visual c++ 2008 x64 and also x86 but no luck, also this sxstrace.exe but here I don't really know what to do ...
Any ideas ?!!

See this thread and install the files as instructed. From the sounds of things you should really hope it works because it's supposed to be very difficult to troubleshoot and fix if this doesn't help:
