Mothrboard & Processor problem

My Pc wasn't used for a long time.While i tried to re-use it the pc got power but after a while it shut up before starting the window.I tried to enter bios setup but it failed with a message,drive error.My hard disc, ram,power supply,bios battery all are ok. I couldn’t find the problem.If anyone knows please tell me. I will be very gratefull

If the PC sat unused for a long period of time without being plugged in to a wall socket then it it is very likely the 3v battery on the motherboard ran low or died. These are relatively inexpensive and easy to replace. Most PCs us a CR2032 button battery.

Try replacing that and see if it works.

If the battery was drained then your BIOS settings will have gone back to defaults. If there were any changes made before you may need to re-do them.
