Yikes I can't imagine how a m.2 got listed as disk2 that's whack

It's not using an SATA port would be my guess, it lists those first I guess.

I'm not familiar with them though so I could be wrong.

On boot it says HDD first then mSATA

I've heard that with win7 uefi+csm install, it's not recommended to store system reserve and C: in the same disk, why?

You are going to want the mSATA first, that is the preferred method so no boot files get placed before it on the other drives.

There is no "system reserved" on a UEFI, there are other system partitions,

What do you mean by that? Your disk management shows you installed as legacy. I don't see any uefi partitions.

I have a m.2 slot it I imagine will go unused for quite a while

I believe RAID was accidentally enabled when I install.

I imagine that is why it got installed on disk0 instead of where the os was installed on
I've read a little on m.2 and raids but only got a headache out of it

Remove the drive letter it is normal

The easiest would be just make the m.2 first priority in the boot sequence, unplug the other drives and reinstall.
