I even changed the ram to 3 different set still persists , tried mem test and individual ram too all good. i tried changing from windows 7 32 bit to 7 64 bit then to window 8 then back to windows7 64, to get rid of this bsod. its dragged on for 5 months and i am at my wits end...could you guys help, thinking of binning this laptop and last time i buy of ebay too lol thanks in advance:mad::mad::mad::mad: i attached file too

Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known BSOD causer. Uninstall Daemon Tools at first. Then download SPTD standalone installer from Disk-Tools.com, and execute the downloaded file as guided below :

  • Double click to open it.
  • Click this button only:
  • 2012-12-13_224441.jpg
  • If it is grayed out, as in the picture, there is no more SPTD in your system, and you just close the window.
Let us know the result.

It blames the display driver this time.
Code:

Go to Intel download center. Take the Intel® Driver Update Utility. See if it suggest any update to the display driver or not. If any update is offered, apply it.

Let us know the result.

If it is the current driver that is failing, then the situation is not good; because it is onboard display.

IMHO what you planned is a good option in our hand. Try it.

The option may not be there for a laptop, you need to monitor the system temps.

Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/311593-speccy-publish-snapshot-your-system-specs.html .

The latest crash dump did not show anything specifically. So IMHO we should know the temps at first.
