Have an HP Slimline S5000 that's real slow and freezes at times. Windows 7 Home. Checked for malware, found nothing.
Did all my usual cleaning, starting programs, Autoruns, the whole bit.
Ran HD Tune and it showed a definite failing hdd. Ran the Seatools from boot and it passed.
Had another drive handy and cloned the drives.
Still have the same problem with the new drive.
Maybe time for an install/repair? Or is there something else to try.
BTY, memory tests good also.
