No internet, but have internet in Safe Mode

Hello,

So as the title implies I am having issues with my internet with my desktop. When I try to "fix" it I either get "your computer appears to be correctly configured, but cannot access Microsoft.com" or router issues. I have a laptop can access internet no problem. I have tried a few things so far after researching. I have done msdos netsh and other commands. I reset chrome and internet explorer. Ran antivirus/Malwarebytes in normal and safe mode, though, bitdefender didn't work in safe mode or rescue mode so used clamwin. So not sure if that antivirus sucks or not. I have made sure I am not using proxy server. I've reset startup services in msconfig. So I am running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated

It may be caused by your anti-virus. Try disabling it and testing. If okay then uninstall and install a different one of download and install the latest one (bitdefender??) available?

Do you use a firewall other than the one that comes with Win 7? If so it could be that instead of your AV.
