Hi all,
The problem I have, I have just down loaded Virtual Dj to my home computer (Running on Windows 7 home edition) which then I connect an external USB hard drive (Seagate) and every thing runs well, all files detected etc. I have just purchased a new lap top (Dell, which is also running on Windows 7 home edition) loaded the same Virtual DJ programme, connected the same external hard drive, but it is not finding some of the files, although my home computer does?
Any idea of the problem.

Thanks
Roy.

Can you just not see the files or are they not being found by the installation program?

Hi there, thanks so much for your reply. The files dont show up in the listings of Virtual DJ (On the lap top) but they do show up on my home computer. Both computers are running on Windows 7 Home edition. I have also re installed the VDJ on my lap top, but get the same problem.

Can you view all your files on your hard drive normally from Computer? In other words, can you just open up your hard drive files on your computer normally and see them? Or is it JUST Virtual DJ that can't see them?

I'm running Windows COMPLETELY off a 2TB portable hard drive (since my 300GB internal drive just isn't big enough). It works exactly the same as it would normally, only it has to be constantly connected to my USB port. Obviously. I'll show you how to do it, if you ask! It's pretty cool.
