Try System Restore from the System Recovery Options which sometimes works better: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/668-system-recovery-options.html
If you have the Win7 DVD, use it Recovery Options.

As Greg said in the post above, using the Windows 7 DVD or Startup Repair CD, will sometimes work better, as the installed Windows is offline.

! I manually create a restore point before any driver upgrade or install. I religiously take Mac-Ref B & R! I have 17% of C:drive allocated for restore points!
