Prompted to install Quicktime, I have Quicktime

I want to watch Apple movie Trailers. I'm running Win 7 Pro 64 bit and using Google Chrome, however I did try this with IE11 and Maxathon V4.4.3.4000 and the result is the same. I go to apple trailers and select a movie trailer to watch. I'm prompted to install Quicktime ! I already have Quicktime installed. I can easily go to you-tube and watch all these trailers, I just don't like something on my PC that doesn't work right. Does anyone have a clear understanding of why this keeps happening ? I'm open to any ideas.

Apple websites tend to only work properly on MACs with Safari Browser

I may not be an old pro but I have built my own PC's since 2005 ,and I have used apple trailers website for many years before and with 2 or 3 different browsers. I do miss how we used to be able to download the trailers....but in the past I have never been hampered by using a Windows PC or Browsers other than Safari . I appreciate your attempt at helping,

Apple makes movies now ?

Just watch trailers on youtube with Chrome or just google the trailer and use Chrome.

Try Updating your installed quicktime, also your add-on and plugins .. restart computer after the updates.
