[Q]Win7-Win8 dual boot problem-How to remove windows 8?

I had win7 and i installed windows 8.I did not like win8 so i launched msconfig from win 7 and i deleted from the boot tab the win8 option then my pc asked me to restart but i refused because i thought that i should first delete the space that it was consumed from win8 and extend my win7 partition. But i can't the option delete partition is not available on win8 partition.I restarted pc but it still recognise win8 partition as system,healthy etc. How can i delete this partition and extend the windows 7 partition?
