I have random BSOD at startup, sometimes it happens before windows loads, and sometimes the loading completes and I can get into explorer or outlook and then again sometimes it doesn't happen at all. This has been happening for about 4 weeks. When it crashes to blue screen it reboots and goes to black startup uptions screen asking if I want safe mode or normal mode. Very frustrating as it's random and I've tried disconnecting just about everything to isolate the problem. I have attached required files.

A few months ago, I received help here for another issue which was solved and was to do with tv card drivers, I don't think I cleaned out the minidump files following that one.

System;
Intel I7 3.20ghz
4.00gb Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5800
2x 1TB hard disks
win7 32bit

Thanks in advance,
Ron.

For starts you have a 1999 driver Related to Aspi32.sys Generic drivers. That need to be fixed before we can even investigate the hardware issues.

Thanks for speedy reply, is it ok to just remove the aspi32.sys from drivers or must I uninstall the program associated with it, I know it's related to Adaptec but unsure which.

You might want to update it. Check the mobo mfr.

downloaded and tried to update motherboard drivers etc.

I did a check in device manager and there is yellow triangle next to ATWJYKUR IDE Controller. doing a google search I can find nothing about this, should I delete.

I'm not even sure what it relates to

To add.

I decided to rename and delete the aspi32.sys ( after saving copy ). as I cannot find program associated with it, no doubt when using computer, something will not work as a result, and then I can update or remove that offending program.

You mentioned hardware errors, so could we move on to that, as I know your time is valuable.

Ok, since removing the ASPI32.sys and also the strange IDE controller, problem seems to be fixed.

Thanks for the help,

regards,

Ron.
