Recognition of USB 2 Port

O/S Windows 7 on a Foxcom M/B

USB 2 drivers as supplied by the M/B disc, installed. USB ports and associated software shown to be working correctly in System Manager, yet any USB device inserted into any of the 6 ports on the machine, results in the message 'This device requires a USB port.

Any help to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Hi Roy,

It sounds to me like the USB drivers might be outdated, or perhaps not working properly.

Could you please do the following:

1. Provide as much detail about your system using this tutorial:

2. Can you open Device Manager and check to see whether there are any yellow triangles next to the USB root hubs, as shown in the image below?
