Solved Reinstalled Windows 7 Multi-Partition Drive (Basic Disk now Dynamic)

There is no qualitative difference between Logical and Primary. Generally Primary is for OS's and Logical is for data, so you can follow that standard if you want.

Partition Wizard treats Logical as separate partitions anyway, as long as they are adjacent.
 
Thanks greg, going to back up the drive with acronis boot cd. Long process, thanks for the patience.
