I've been using Avast Home which is free. Seems to be working well.

Kaspersky beta for windows 7 seems to work a lot better than KIS2009. If you activate it as a beta it gives you about ½ year for free

make sure your not running skype while changing sound settings in the console.

Has anyone mentioned DAEMON Tools Lite? I know for a fact it doesn't work in Build 7022 and below.

I dont think anyones mentioned the Lite version so you might want to test it in RC before posting a result.

Avast AV did not work too well through a BSOD for me.

As this thread is for software that doesn't work properly yet on Windows 7, it's best to post your problem in a new thread in the appropriate forum section. Please explain with as much detail as you possibly can on the problem and hopefully someone will be able to help out.

FileZilla (SFTP) seems to hang the entire OS when I try to copy a file to the desktop.

If you see my other post in the general forum, I have no errors in the log, which means I have no idea what's happening.

FYI Daemontools Lite ver 4.30.4.0027 works fine in Windows 7 x64

Adobe PDF Reader (9.1) doesn't work under Windows 7.

While DirectoryOpus 9.1.1.5 does install and work, the newer versions (9.1.1.7 and 9.1.1.8) won't install, claiming that the OS is not the right version.

Update: Downloaded the very latest version from the DirOpus site, and it still complained about the OS version -- and was able to "force" the installation. It does actuall work. So, I'll add a post to the other forum about this.
