Windows Vista Home Premium w/SP2 (of course).
Updates were going just fine the last 18months, through 2 days ago.
Some windows updates are not installed. Tried multiple times.
Attached is a copy of the
Code 8070641 Windows Update encountered an uknown error.
Used Eventvwr.exe to find permissions issue with COM comoponent IPBusEnum
Tried running MMC to use Component Services to give all accounts full permissions. Still cannot update.
Verified no pending updates in windows SoftwareDistribution/Download/yadayadadirectory of today's date.
Tried SFC /scannow, which reported errors, but is huge and not sure what to search for (attached).
Someone throw some help? Thanks.
