I have switched between Windows Aero and Windows Classic themes many times, but now I'm stuck on Windows Classic theme. What should I do?
I've got Acer Aspire 5724G.

There's a bunch of fixes, one that has often worked for me (even though it makes no sense)
is to open up system in the control panel (winkey+pause/break is the shortcut) and rerun your experience index score.
next to your current index score click the link, then at the bottom right click re-run the assessment.

This probably isn't the best fix for this but it has worked for me on multiple occasions.

didn't work for me. :(
btw, sorry, I'm not in the correct place. Thought it's vizualization not virtualization. :D
edit - or maybe did work, now I can enable Themes at services.msc.
thanks anyway. :)

oops, I left out that step didn't I? Sorry didn't sleep last night I'm a little off today.

When your graphics score above a certain number (I forget what it is off the top of my head) the system automatically enables aero support... or at least it's supposed to.

At any rate whether it was my suggestion or not. I'm glad you are sorted.
