Hey guys, i never thought i would come here for this issue but theres a first time for everything.
Anyways, a friend of mine has a 4 year old or so toshiba laptop with windows vista. In the process of cleaning it up he had deleted the folder system 32. Now he wants to give it to his sister but he wants to get some stuff off it before he got someone to wipe it clean (me)
So i was wondering about 2 things in mid
1. Upgrading a laptop to windows 7, would find most drivers even for laptops correct?
2.What would be the best way to get what he wants off the hard drive (movies music etc)
proposed solutions i have been given already are
-restoring system 32 via system repair or command line via disc
- use a laptop hdd adapter usb, plug into a pc and copy files from the HDD to another HDD
