The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). This is the error I am getting after about 10 minutes on my pc. All of my programs work fine for a while and then I start getting that error.

Have you tried download a fresh copy of firefox and uninstalling/reinstalling? Is that the only program it happens with?

No. After about 5-10 minutes almost all programs do that. All of them work until about 5 minutes in and then I get that error. And I'm running sfc /scannow as we speak.

The sfc /scannow result is that it did not find any violations. I'm in safe mode as we speak tho.

I usually tell people to stay away from registry cleaners but I would like you to try running one to see if it helps. Make sure you make a back up of your registry before running it. Use CCleaner - Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download and run the registry cleaner.
