Today I pack my bags, our family is heading down to the south of Ireland to spend Christmas
together. We will spend six days in a large fifteen bedroom house just outside Bantry in Co Cork, at the moment they are all snowed in down there so we don't know if we will make it down that far,
but I will give it a try, I think there are thirty of us or something like that inc small kids, so I think
I will be off the air for the next six days or so, until I return, I wish Everybody on the forum,
a warm and peaceful Christmas. Nollaig Shona.

I have just been walking Gracie and I am not working in the shop this afternoon, as they are closing early.

I thought I was done with my Christmas shopping, but now I'm rushing out to get a few extra little Christmas gifts for unexpected visitors. Wouldn't you think I'd have learned to do this EVERY year, after all these years of miscellaneous people unexpectedly popping in to visit with a little something in their hands!

We have a bit of snow on the ground, but it's not thick and white like Christmas card snow --- the forecast is for snow "showers" today and tomorrow -- but snow showers don't usually stick, and anyway, so far I don't even see any flakes coming down.
