Unattended Bluescreens

Hopefully someone will be able to help me as I am coming unravelled trying to fix this problem.

I built this PC myself and it has run without issue for months, up until a week ago. At that time I started receiving random BSODs although only when the computer was not being used actively (i.e. I'm not at the keyboard). I can play games for hours or browse without issue, but if I leave there is a good chance of a bluescreen when I get back.

Most of the bluescreens have been MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, although there have been a few PFN_LIST_CORRUPT as well as my personal favourite, IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL also making a guest appearance.

I have run Memtest overnight (10+ passes) with 0 errors, as bad RAM was my first suspicion. I have run extended tests on both of my hard drives using SeaTools and neither one had any errors (or any SMART warnings).

If anyone could take a look at the dumps and give any further advice I would appreciate it, since I am close to being out of ideas.

Thanks.

I have removed and uninstalled Avast using the linked uninstaller.

MSE is now installed and scanning.

Windows Firewall is enabled (I was using Comodo).

As per my post, I have already run Memtest86 overnight for 10 passes with 0 errors a couple of days ago, however I will do so again tonight.

You must uninstall comodo.

For extra scans download, install, update and scan with superantispyware

Leave memtest to run overnight.

Comodo has been uninstalled.

A scan with SAS found a few tracking cookies but nothing else.

Memtest ran overnight for 15 complete passes with 0 errors.

I bluescreened twice again yesterday, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT and then PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. Those minidumps are attached.

Sorry for the late response.

I swept away the old Nvidia driver and installed the latest.

I installed the latest DirectX redistributable and it did update several files.

sfc /scannow found no integrity violations.

OCCT found no errors on my video card, either on the video RAM or the GPU.

Prime95 ran for over 3 hours with no errors on the Small FFTs test (CPU stress).

I have actually not bluescreened in several days, ever since I updated DirectX on Sunday. Perhaps this was the issue, that some of my DirectX files were corrupted in some way and caused the problem?

I'll post back should another bluescreen occur. Thanks for the help so far!

Another bluescreen today, this time SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION.

Dump is attached.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the indicated file ladfBakerRamd64.sys would seem to indicate my Logitech G930 headset software.

Perhaps this is the problem?

I was using the latest driver and software for it. I did uninstall it, remove it and then reinstall though, in case it had become corrupted. Unfortunately I don't have another headset around to use.

If I bluescreen again I will uninstall the software and simply use Windows' built-in driver for it. This has limited functionality but it will at least let me use it.

I'll post back with the results of the SAS and Malwarebytes scans.

If you're getting the blue screens when idle and not running flat out is it because your system fans slow down when not under load and components overheat anyway? I suppose it depends if fans are switched by load or temp.

Then again I could be talking out of my derriere

My fans are set to change by temp. I think temp has been eliminated as a factor though, as I can run under load on GPU tests and CPU tests without a bsod occurring. Today's bluescreen occurred whilst I was playing Rift.

As I understand it, my dumps have indicated a driver issue.

I'm not sure what you're asking for.

I've only bluescreened once in the past week and the minidump from that is already attached above.

""Today's bluescreen occurred whilst I was playing Rift.""

Thats why i ask ""If you have a new bsod then upload the new bsod folder.""
