Solved update from 10/10/16 to present

A new question. I have WIN 7, SVP 1. last update 10/10/16...I then was in hospital for 2 years and mental recovery was VERY slow. Now almost OK. I do photography and use Adobe..Lost their Creative Cloud because of crashes & can't reload because of no updates. Get error because no TLS 1.0 or 1.1 support. Any idea how to get enough updates to get these?

Or run simplix which will do the whole lot.

Recommended to put the net framework4.8 .wa file next to simplix update pack so it installs that as well.

Thank you so much. My poor laptop has been trying to check for updates for 4 hrs and is still checking. Is that usual? It may be why it shows that I have not checked for updates...I probably have turned off my laptop before it ever has finished checking in the past.
Should I just stop it now from checking and go on to the links you have suggested?

What is Simplix and the simplix updatepack? How do put the net framework4.8 .wa file next to simplix update pack so it installs that as well? Is that found in the Releases . abbodi1406/dotNetFx4xW7A . GitHub you mentioned? Sorry that I am such a novice in this.

I dont know another way to describe "next to" . Technically it is called in the same directory, but I didnt think you would understand that.

For example :

If you download the update pack onto your desktop, then you need to put the net frame .wa file on the desktop.

Or if you put the updatepack into a folder called yippee , then you need to put the .wa file in the folder called yippee.

So it is simplest to download both of them to the same place, e.g. onto your desktop.

Simplix updatepack is exactly what it sounds like. It is pack containing the updates. Just run it and will install them for you . Couldnt be easier.

You could have done it hours ago. Are you waiting for something?

Click Install. That is all. You can sit and watch if you like, or go away, have a coffee . It is all automatic.
It will reboot and cleanup if it needs to.

It will take a little while to put the first lot of updates in, so you can have a cup of tea. Then it will probably want to restart to put in some more updates, and finally it will probably want to restart again to run cleanup.

Exactly what it does will depend on what updates you already have.
