W7 not updating?

Hi,
After running the reset you should of seen Never checked for updates or similar to that.

That is when you should of downloaded the missing updates already posted to your downloads folder
Then disconnect from the internet and restart the machine

On restart without internet connection run the missing updates till they install.
Once either KB3020369 & KB3172605 are installed you can reconnect to the internet and manually check for updates.

Thanks, it solved the issue.

But again, my question is yesterday I got non error, the update got installed while connected to internet...

Hi,
Sometimes the update settings do not stick so the built in updates service and the stand alone installers clash.
Often the easiest solution is disconnecting from the internet so only the stand alone search can function.
Don't ask me why

I'd stick to my list
And don't forget make a system image before so if errors occur you can roll back and try again easily.

I always let it update if prompted

Great
One heads up I only deal with Important updates so if one shows up download and install it or them after creating a system image of course
Then even if we do get a bad one/ a recalled one we can always undo the issue easily
