Besides the model names and the fact that 1 has a dual fan while the other is single, is there anything else that puts one over the other?

I can get the double D version for $150 after rebates and everything -- is that a good deal? I am looking to get 2 to set up Xfire. How does this card compare to the new PCIe 3.0 7000 series and/or to the Nvidia 560/570s? any input would be helpful, thanks!!
