Here is the best solution to prevent any and all virus and hack attempts I've found.
The good thing is that its 100% guaranteed to work for everyone, without the need for any additional software.
First, Shutdown your computer.
Next, look on the back of your PC and locate a small cable that looks like the one in the picture below.

As illustrated, push in on the retaining clip, and gently remove it from the PC.
Please be careful you do not damage anything.
Now start up your PC and you are good to go.
No need for any extra programs, you are 100% gaurnteed to be safe from Internet nasties.
Please note, that by reconnecting this cable, you will again be vulnerable.
