I have been getting BSOD overnights while machine is either idle or running virus scanning.

I just installed Windows 7 few weeks ago, no major hardware changes but a fairly new install.

These crashes has became more and more frequently lately...

I downloaded WinDgb and tried to get all the right symbols. Even downloaded them from the Microsoft Server using
symchk /r c:\windows\system32 /s SRV*c:\symbols\*Symbol information

I still get an Error on:
ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ntoskrnl.exe

Can someone please help by taking a look at my minidumps?

Or help with my ntoskrnl.exe symbol errors.

Thanks,

RoSahas

Hi

Most of these crashes were caused by NETw5s64.sys which is obviously part of your wlan driver. I wold download and install a fresh copy.

I would also run a system file check to verify your system files
type cmd in search>right click and run as admin>sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and "/")

Let us know the results

Ken

Thanks for that quick response.

I did notice that network driver issue. I have updated both my Intel Wireless and LAN drivers to Win 7 64bit versions.

I just ran the command you mentioned and it looks good too:

C:\Windows\system32>sfc /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Will see how it goes tonight!

Thanks again,

RoSahas

Well, I didn't have to wait until overnight.... another BSOD :(

I am attaching the latest minidump.

Also, any thoughts on how I could fix this error?

ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for ntoskrnl.exe

Thanks,

RoSahas
