Windows 7 emachines E627 series very slow

The laptop is slow. In taskmanager its constantly using 100% power thingy. Checked the processes but can't see whats causing it. Im guessing its preinstalled emachine program, i could b wrong. How can i figure what is the cause of the lagging? I've run spybot search and destroy and CCleaner. But still slow.
