I am back, from what it sounds like.. his computer isn't set to boot the DVD/CD drive first.
Tw33k he cannot boot into the DVD.
i told you what to do. you need to boot up from your cd. go through the process and you will get an option to repair. you should try that first before you reinstall
I do boot up from my cd and it doesn't mater it still takes me to that black screen where it says "Windows 7 Evaluation copy. Build 7100".
Okay Johny, do me a favor and ignore everyone else.
First I need to know what company your Motherboard is from (asus, gigabyte, etc.)
If you do not know that is okay, but I'll wait for your reply to this, first.

I'm gonna jump in too
I totaly agree, but the main boot splash screen will state which button to access the BIOS/System Setup
Ok, my bit done DNG carry on mate![]()

If you have an Asus motherboard you should be able to get into the bios by
Pressing the DEL key as it is booting up .
DEL is the button.
Is that an ASUS standard? Anyways, I think we may be moving too fast for Johny to keep up so lets try to keep the posts slow. Remember hes stuck on a phone!
Thanks for the agreeing part, and yes thanks completely spaced that.
Johny, when you boot up your computer, at the bottom (or top) of the screen does it say anything like..
{F12} BIOS
(replace F12 with whatever is shown), I mean when it just starts.
It just says press "delete to run setup" and "tab" to run BIOS POST message" and that's it!!!

Setup? Post Message?
Try tab then, seeing as you have tried delete before I believe.
