A few days ago I got the message about the Windows Boot Configuration messing required information. From online resources, seemed like an easy enough problem to fix, with an installation disc. I didn't have a recovery disc and couldn't access the recovery partition, so i went on Asus' site and bought the recovery CD.
Great. Except now when I put in the cd, it doesn't work as expected. I get the "Windows is loading files" bar. Then the windows 7 startup screen. Then a desktop and cursor appear. I can move the cursor around a little. And then it crashes before the recovery options can appear.
Please help. I want to use my computer.
