Windows 7 Stuck in diagnostic loop

Sorry... what is F12 supposed to do normally? One time boot device?

Maybe burn another CD/DVD. Although F12 must work as it did before

It allows me to either run diagnostic or boot from my CD/DVD, network, USB, or HHD.
So you mean F12 is the "one time boot device selecion"? But now you don't see the menu at all after pressing F12 ... correct?

I still see all of the options when I press F12 (boot either from my HD, cd/dvd, network, or USB) along with diagnostics. However, selecting either one of those, except for diagnostics, simply bring me back to the blue screen with the tests menu.

You already tried another bootable DVD? Maybe it is faulty.

I took it to an expert, who ran all the tests. Says the motherboard is most likely corrupted.

Very curious what tests he ran(?) What tests are possible if you can't boot from DVD and can't enter BIOS. Only test I can think of are the 2 diagnostic tests.

Don't sounds like a proof. Why didn't he take the disk out of the system and attached it temporary to another system. Then he could mark the other partition active.
