Ever since I got my hardware upgrade and installed it with Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, I have been plagued by this randomly freezing issue. This is completely driving me bonkers and I'm completely out of solutions right now. I've just reformatted the whole SSD only to be hit by the random freezes again right after I tried to install other softwares.

Is my BIOS somehow configured wrong? I've left everything at "default" setting and I don't even dare to OC. I really hope that my hardwares are not faulty. Can someone please help me out? I am very good at following instructions, but I haven't got a clue as to what I need to do right now. The motherboard came with a BIOS interface that I cannot make heads and tails of at all.

All the drivers installed are taken directly from the manufacture's website, should be the most recent version.
When the desktop freezes, I lose power and connectivity to all my USB connected devices.
I have to flip the mast power switch in the back of the case to force the computer to shut down. Holding on the power button does nothing.

I've just fresh installed Windows 7 and first BSOD after 2 freezes without BSOD. Should I be happy now that I actually have a BSOD code to work with? Here it is. I don't know what it means really, can someone decode the error and walk me through how to fix it?

Bugchecks 0x116's are usually a video-related problem....you could try updating the driver.

Longer term, you need to clean install with a genuine Windows 7 - there are already signs it will cause you issues in the future, if its not already having some effect. Clean up the Acronis reference in your HOSTS file too ;)
