Hey guys,
I googled "white box on desktop" and I ended up here and saw a thread where OP had a whitebox in the upper left corner. I believe I found a solution to the problem.

Here is a picture of the problem

The problem is Razer Synapse. Once killing that process, the white box disappears and you can reopen Synapse.

Sounds like a problem with Razer Synapse. Is there an updated version (or a different application) available? If not, is there a forum for it that you can ask for help in?

Doesn't sound like anything Windows 7 can fix.

Thanks Kallo! I was searching all over the internet for a fix, thanks for the heads up. I just had to make sure the box wasn't malware or anything. I'll bet Razer will fix it soon.
