I have a Dell Dimension 3000 that was upgraded from windows xp to windows 7 home premium. Memory was udgraded as well. Monitor was not showing an image so computer was incorrectly shutdown a few times while trying to fix it. When image was visible on the monitor I saw this message. I clicked repair and would restart over and over to same point and same error message

I went online and download a windows 7 home premium repair disk. but it didn't seems to recognize it when restarting because it brought me back to the previously mentioned error. After a few online searches I did F12 and launch disk and it brought me here
20140207_001233.jpg

and it was like that for few minutes and then I got
20140206_234504.jpg

Then it show the blue window 7 startup window I previously post
then this screen

I chose to load driver using windows 7 repair CD I downloaded online but not sure whats the names or how to do this so I clicked cancel

I clicked Restore your computer using a system image that you created earlier and next
20140206_235351.jpg

then I received the following error
20140207_000649.jpg

Tried every one of the following options except for command prompt

Can someone help please! DId I format the Computer? Did I loose all my files? How can I get windows to work again? Thank you in advance

Hi, Welcome to forums.

check out this link Solution: Windows Backup/Restore 'Windows Cannot Find a System Image on This Computer' Error

Might be able to help you.

You should focus on this in the topic.

After much fiddling, I found that Windows Recovery is looking for something very specific: the folder for your backup MUST be named WindowsImageBackup and it MUST be at the root (top level) of your external hard drive (it cannot be inside any sub-folders). If not, Windows won’t be able to find it.

Don't click on everything you see! You clicked on a few recovery options without even knowing what it is. Not very smart.

You don't see anything listed here?

How did you make monitor visible? What have you done after last succesfull boot/shutdown that may have caused this?

On this screen click "computer". Now you see disks like X,C any more? Post camshot :

You have a floppy drive and 2 cd/dvd drives... not important now. X is ram drive... not important now.
C is the only disk on system.

Code:
diskpart
select disk 0
list part
exit

only 1 partition on disk?

Code:
chkdsk/f c:

Does it find errors? repairs the errors? run command again to proof there are no more errors on disk

There is definitely a problem with C

a tech installed window and upgraded memory. I had computer for a while. New monitor, when pplugged it didn't show windows no software error just wire. I didn't know that was the problem, kept powering desktop off and on. Then I connect to other monitor and it shows window error, I clicked repair, and it would upload files, show dell logo uploading like is windows was going to start but it went back to error page. Windows seems not to be able to repair. I created a window 7 disk online, F12 n clicked on option that said Cd or Dvd to repair but I went through the process I mentioned in my original post

Ok I went to comand prompt, it says [microsoft windows 6.1.7600]

x:\windows\system32

did it reset computer to the original windows?
Do I still enter code you gave me? Do I press enter and/or space? Sorry I am afraid of entering wrong code

and press enter. What happens? many errors? repaired? You see some errors like MFT corrupt, and/or bootsector corrupt?
Run the command twice to see if no more errors. Post screenshot of output. When done reboot again and check if C is accessible. If so, reboot normally
