windows startup sound

Is there a way to change the windows startup sound without hacking it?

On my PC, the file is called "Windows Startup.wav" and is located at:

you may have to "show hidden folders" open a window click organise / folder and search options , view tab croll down and check the box show hidden folders, files etc

Ok, done that and still NOT in the sound list.

Ok ,im not sure this will work but its worth a shot. right click the desktop select personalise then click sounds ,in the window that opens scroll to and select windows logon, then next to the test button click browse .
Browse to the sound file you want to use then click open then apply, see how you go.

im afraid the link i gave you is a txt to speech workaround with anna greeting you or saying something VERY rude if you choose ,did you click the look here in orange ,its a link!
