windows update service disappeared on w7 pro x32

i'm from paris in France ( that why my English is bad)
i'm new here
my os is Windows 7 pro x32
my Windows update service is disapear
i have seen in the net that Shawn Brink have done a .bat file to repear this probleme but i don't find it
if someone have an idea

i have done your instruction
at the end the message is: you have sucessfuly added the files
i restart
and when i go back to the services.msc
there is no more windows update services
the last one service of Windows is Windows search
so i don't know what to do ?
so now in paris its 8.30 pm
i must to leave the office

Could be a language issue with your copy being a French version and the download from an English copy.

If you like, you might see if doing a system restore using a restore point dated before the service went missing may be able to restore it.

i had find about the restoration
the probleme is that the point of restauration is not actif
because all the computer there are in a pharmacy
so if i make a restauration i lose the history of many patients

one suggestion the registre of " Windows update" not exist actually in my computer
perhaps we mus creat it before do the merge ?

Ah, I see. No, you wouldn't want to do system restore then.

As a test, see if running the command below in the Run (Windows + R keys) dialog is able to open to checking for Windows Updates for you.

wuauclt /showcheckforupdates

System Restore should not affect data - unless it is stored in very specific areas of the system and has file extensions identical to program files. It will however affect the programs which use the data.
