Solved AHCI Not found in Bios

This should be the driver for those hardware ID's you have posted, (The PCI serial port)

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/13935

That one below it will most likely be something you have to get from Lenovo site.

If you can show me that hardware ID and what it looks like expanded, as well as the model of that Lenovo that would help.

I don't understand what you mean, I thought all the hardware was listed for the "PCI Serial Port" in the screen shot I posted?

I always just use the snid rather than model
The snid is located where the activation key is on the computer or similar tag on it,
Probably need a magnifying glass to read it though :)

Nice job on the specs!

You are correct about the hardware ID's for the PCI serial port, that is the driver I posted.

I should have been more clear with the rest of my statement, I was talking about the "Security Devices" below it,

Lenovo.PNG

That looks like it needs attention too.

Thanks, that's what I thought it would be.

Instead of that link I gave you before, I found one on Lenovo,

On this page you'll see four downloads,

Desktops and all in ones :: ThinkCentre M Series desktops :: ThinkCentre M57 - Lenovo Support (US)

The first and third are the actual drivers, the others are instructions, go ahead and install both one and three.

The top one is part of the chipset and the third one down is the actual PCI serial port driver.

2015-08-18_17h25_41.png

Then for the Trusted platform module, the fourth one down is the driver you want,

Well, don't quite understand what that third driver was, something about a password manager? But everything appears to be exclamation free and running good!
Thanks a bunch! If your ever in the armpit of Wyoming, look me up I owe you a beer and a steak dinner!

You're welcome. I thought that third driver would get rid of that key on the trusted platform module.

Unfortunately I can only find an XP 32bit driver for that. It's not necessary for your computer but I was hoping it would clear that up.

A steak and a beer sounds great, I'll hit you up if I'm ever in the area. :)

Ugh!

I have a brand new Win10 notebook here and it has that "Trusted Platform Module" also. I was hoping to destroy that in a clean install of 10, but it sure looks like hardware that requires a driver.

Does anyone know what the thing does?

I ran across some interesting entries in advanced bios for usb configuration
Also fast boot there was a entry for usb support as well.

No tell if it related to security devices or not being I don't have an oem board none effected anything.

Thanks for the info Derek.
It looks like it uses a Microsoft driver so it should not be a problem with a clean install.
I also have a setting to turn off TPM in UEFI BIOS if I wanted to.
