Solved BSOD on computer after motherboard upgrade

I will check when i get off as to the ram being staggered i have them in every other slot right now...

That is correct.

...i never install directly side by side not sure why it says it like they are side by side and not sure but i thought i had them in the blue slots but i will check then

It's confusing, but just remember you want one stick on Channel A and the other on Channel B and the numbers should match. (i.e., NOT A1 & B2 or A2 & B1) You've got it right if they have exactly one slot between them.

Of course, I had a board years ago where both the board and the manual were labeled wrong. The thread at the manufacturer's forum must have run hundreds of pages long.

Ok so i checked so far no bsod gonna try to run few programs to see if it causes any bsods by the way is there any free programs or anything that i could do to possibly put computer under stress while i am either slpeeping or at work so i can try to c if it will crash instead of just letting it run idle while i am away and by the way i was wrong i do not have memory in blue slots they are in black slots

Also forgot the long generic test on harddrive said it passed

There are several good CPU stress programs, but I wouldn't run them unless you can keep a constant watch of them. They will create a lot of heat and need you to keep a close watch on them. You can use prime95, Intel Burn test or AIDA. AIDA is not free, but I believe you get a 30 day trial of it. But all stress tests cause the CPU Temps to go very high and very fast and need constant monitoring with a good temp monitoring program.

Ok so bout how long do you think any of them should run to test for crashes and should driver verifier be disabled first i still have that running

Yes, driver verifier should be disabled first. Did you give it time to see if it crashed other than letting it idle? Also, usually with Prime or AIDA I would run them for a good 8 hours or more. I always run mine for 18-24 hours.

Ok i will look into the programs right now the computer has run for like 24 hours with verifier enabled but alot of the time it was idle so i am playing itunes music and try to find something else to stress it with

Ok so was playing music playing a dvd movie and trying to analyze a external hard drive for defragmentation and now computer is currently froze

It froze at desktop not sure i have a new bsod

ok so disable driver verifier and reran dm log collector he is new zip still no new bsod files
i think last time driver verifier did not let program run properly plus it took like half hour to run compare to like 5 min it took when driver verifier was disabled
