BSOD on new system.

Great news is that, i reformat and update the windows accordingly. This time no more bsod appear.

But the 'eeeeeee........' sound did appear. This time, i try to disable the via sound and the 'eeeee...' sound gone. But when i try to enable it, the 'eeeeee...' sounds come back. Restart the systems and no more 'eeeeee...' sound. This is the 3rd time the 'eee...' sound appear since new (Purchase date : Early July2010).

The hardest part is that the 'eeeee..' sound appear at random times. So it's hard to catch the problem.

Just to let u guys know that I have the same mobo on my another pc, that pc works fine with the same driver from the CD. Never have this sounds. Can i assume that, the driver is ok? Should i return the mobo for new one? Thank you.

If the motherboard is still under warranty, go ahead and exchange it. Hopefully that will cure the "eeeeee..." problem. ;)

yes, the mobo newly purchase (with the whole system) and the problem appear since new. The "eeee..." sound really suspicious of hardware problem. As i never encounter such problem for years from pentium 1 till now.

I try to contact the seller and hope he will change the new mobo to me. Thanks for all your help. I will report back after i got my mobo replaced. Cheers.
