Hi guys,

I am getting the error 9c59 when installing IE 10 in Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

In event viewer the error code 0x80070643 is shown, reading up on this Microsoft suggests it has something to do with .net framework 4 and that this should have a repair install run. I did this but it made no difference.

I have run the SFC scan and added the logs as suggested.

Please help guys, I really don't want to have to re-install.

Regards

Trev

Update:

I have just tried to uninstall IE 9 but this failed.

I need to do some research and work out how best to resolve this - back later.

Hi Noel,

Thanks for that.

Unfortunately the customer who's computer this was has come and picked it up.

Other Windows updates ran fine and she didn't use Internet Explorer anyhow.

Thanks for your time.
